Available to University, TAFE, Language School and Business College students, the Lodge offers a range of comforts and amenities in a secure environment. Cairns Student Lodge is close to two beautiful beaches, only walking distance to shops and approximately 20 minutes from Cairns city centre.
Airport Pickup Service Guests of the Lodge are offered an airport /bus train pickup or drop off service. This is availed for a nominal charge for $20.00 pp each way from Cairns airport to Cairns Student Lodge.(48 hours notice is required) |

A public bus service operated by “SunBus” runs seven days a week from bus stops approx 100 metres from the Lodge.

Part of your stay at Footprints Cairns Student Lodge involves meeting people from diverse cultures. We organise social events which give you every opportunity to meet people. Shopping Smithfield Shopping Centre is 2 kilometres from the Lodge and offers a wide selection of stores and services including:

Eat and greet
As well, we provide packed lunches and late meals for any students with class commitments during the week. Specialised diets can usually be catered for with prior notification. All meals, served in the bright, modern dining room present an ideal time to mix and mingle with other students staying at the Lodge. Dining times are as follows:
The Cairns Student Lodge regards the safety and security of its students and guests as an issue of paramount importance. Although the Lodge is located in one of the safest areas of Cairns [an extremely safe city anyway], Footprints Cairns Student lodge has an onsite caretaker and a licensed security officer performs regular nightly patrols. After hours medical assistance can be found at Cairns 24 hour Medical Centre, located on the corner of Florence and Grafton Streets. Phone: 4052 1119 Medical Emergencies - dial the emergency number - 000. An operator will then assist you.

Great
amenities, fantastic beaches and a beautiful climate mean much more when
experienced with friends. 
Cairns Student Lodge operates an free 10 seat shuttle to the city on a daily basis primarily to meet the needs of students studying in the city. Other guests are welcome to use this service subject to availability.
Breakfast,
lunch and dinner are prepared by qualified chefs and all meals are included
in the weekly cost.
