Footprints Cairns Student Lodge offers University, Language School and Business College students an opportunity to live in a happy, friendly and secure learning environment. It is situated close to two of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Cairns and is just 20 minutes drive from the city. There is also a shopping village just across the road with a supermarket, medical centre and chemist.

Your room

The Lodge units are fully-furnished. You will have your own private bedroom and share the bathroom and air-conditioned lounge area with two other residents. Female residents can choose to share with other girls or be in a mixed unit. Your room and unit will be cleaned weekly and fresh sheets supplied.

Your safety and security

The Lodge offers you safety and security. Although the Lodge is located in one of the safest parts of Cairns, our resident security officer patrols the buildings throughout the night for your added safety and peace of mind.

 

Your "family" away from home

A Director of Residential Life and a group of Residential Assistants live at the Lodge. Their job is to help you with any worries or concerns and to assist you in becoming part of the Lodge's friendly community.


Meals at the Lodge

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by qualified chefs and all meals are included in the weekly cost. As well, we provide packed lunches for language students during the school week. The evening meal is a great time to mix and mingle in our bright and modern dining room, so you can make strong friendships to last a lifetime.

An interesting mix of people live at the Lodge including Australian and American English speakers as well as international students from Europe and Asia. This gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the English language experience. The Lodge has a poolside bar, pool table, volleyball court and swimming pool. We also organise social and sporting activities to give you every opportunity to meet people.
